which is viewed by all HPI supervisors or managers in charge of providing your customer service, repair or otherwise. Other emails or extensions will get you a specific person but this email goes to many.

  • Non-emergencies will get a call back within 24 hours or the next business day.
  • Emergency requests to the 800# will be text messaged to the person in that department that is on-call and our dispatcher will follow-up with a phone call every 5 minutes until they acknowledge receiving the message or move on to the back-up service provider.
  • The department head will later review the log and look for the report on how you were handled or ask how it was handled to make sure the issue was resolved or scheduled for follow-up. 
  • Lastly, you can fill out the form below in lieu of an email.
  • To avoid falling thru the cracks, never call the tech directly. The 800# and email generate a paper trail to our service log.

    HPI Service Labor Rates

    for Burg Alarm, Commercial Fire Alarm, Video Security, Access Control and other Low Voltage Systems repair labor rates are

    • ESP (Extended Service Plans) Subscribers pay nothing for parts, trip or labor during normal business hours (our typical plan) for on-site or remote phone or computer services and only pay for Trip & Labor for after hours emergency service.
    • All on-site service calls except ESP’s require a $35 trip charge plus labor as below.
    • Remote Service by phone, IP Network or Cell Network for repairs, talk thru or computer programming changes have no trip charge and are charged in 15 minute increments of the normal on-site rates listed above. Subscribers get the first 15 minutes free. Subscribers are recurring Customers that contract HPI to provide Alarm or Video Monitoring, Video or Access Control Management Services, etc.
    • Normal service Labor Rate is $95/man hour.  One (1) hour minimum then in 15 minute increments.
    • Subscriber Rates are discounted to $85/man hour.  One (1) hour minimum then in 15 minute increments.
    • Commercial Fire Alarm Labor Rates are $115/man hour. One (1) hour minimum.
    • Parts’ costs are additional as needed.
    • Scheduled after-hours weekdays (after 5p) or weekend rates are time and a half.
    • Emergency Service Overnight, Weekend or Holidays, dispatching a tech from his/her home is at double the above labor rates, doorstep to doorstep.
